The Itinerary:

📍 Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
You’ll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a friendly local team will be waiting to welcome you. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha to relax, meet the group, and get prepped for the adventure ahead.

🥾 Day 2–9: The Kilimanjaro Climb (Lemosho Route, 8 Days)
Here’s the breakdown of the trek:

  • Day 2Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp (through lush rainforest)

  • Day 3Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp (views for days)

  • Day 4Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp (easy pace, acclimatization)

  • Day 5Shira 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower (climb high, sleep low)

  • Day 6Barranco Wall to Karanga Camp (a fun scramble with unreal views)

  • Day 7Karanga to Barafu Base Camp (rest and prep for summit night)

  • Day 8Midnight Summit Push! Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Then descend to Mweka Camp.

  • Day 9Final descent to Mweka Gate, celebrate with your summit certificate, and head back to your hotel in Arusha for a well-earned shower, meal, and sleep!

  • While the Kilimanjaro climb is challenging, it’s accessible to anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. The trek is about endurance, not strength, so a regular fitness routine leading up to the trip will help.

    • If you're new to hiking or have any concerns about your fitness level, the personalized training plan will guide you in preparing effectively.

    • The Lemosho Route is also one of the best routes for acclimatization, which helps reduce altitude sickness.

    We offer a flexible 3-part payment plan to make things easy:

    • Secure your spot with a €199 deposit before June 1 and get 10% off the total price.

    • Payment 1: June 6

    • Payment 2: August 15

    • Final Payment: 3 weeks before departure

  • While the goal is to reach the summit, Kilimanjaro is challenging, and we understand that not everyone will make it to the top. The most important thing is that you stay safe and enjoy the experience. Our guides and crew are highly trained to help you at every stage. If you’re unable to continue, they will help you descend safely.

    • If you do reach the summit, you’ll receive an official certificate as a token of your incredible achievement!

  • Flight: You’ll fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania. This is the closest airport to the starting point of our trek, and we’ll pick you up from there when you arrive!

    Visa: Irish passport holders need a tourist visa to enter Tanzania. You can:

    • Apply online before arrival via the Tanzanian e-visa system.

    • Or get a visa on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (usually costs around $50 USD)
